"LIVE FROM THE STONINGTON OPERA HOUSE: MAINE-IACS"

A Musical Variety Show and Detective Serial
Written and Directed by Didi Balle

CONCEPT:  A two-hour live Musical Variety Show for stage and radio broadcast celebrating all things Maine. The show included an original two-part detective serial set in Maine with a cast of local talent, NYC pros and a live Sound Effect Man and SFX equipment on stage. From a genuine singing lobster man to a rant by  the town's oldest resident, the variety show is a scripted comic tribute to the oddly sophisticated backwoods backwater known as Deer Isle, Maine.

CAST: A cast of three professional actors/singers along with a host of local performers and real folk.

PERFORMANCES/BROADCAST: Performed live on stage at the Stonington Opera House in Deer Isle Maine and broadcast live by  Maine Public Radio to moose far and wide.

AVAILABLE:  For license; and/or a ready-to-go customized production for your orchestra or theatre. Please contact us for more information on how we can customize the show for your city, town or rural community.
